The timeline illustrates the contribution of foreign designers to Finland’s architectural heritage – although such modern concepts as Finn and foreign cannot be directly applied to the situation before Finland’s independence. The implementation of projects has typically required close cooperation with local architects. Buildings designed by foreign architects who have permanently settled in Finland, such as C.L.
