After his winning entry in an architectural competition, Alvar Aalto ended up working on the designs of the Jyväskylä University campus for nearly 20 years. The main building, originally completed in 1956, has in the past suffered from a sick building syndrome. Now, newly renovated by A-Konsultit it returns to its central role on campus.
